Paul Archer takes on the London Triathlon

I’ve signed up for the London Triathlon on Saturday 8th August and I’m hoping to raise upwards of £500 for More Than Hope and Brainstrust. The triathlon consists of a 750m swim in the open water of London Docklands, 20km on the bike on closed roads and finally a 5km run and a push to the line! I’m training on the hills of West Berkshire on the bike, getting in runs when I can, but I’m not really looking forward to the cold water of the open water swim!

I’m doing some other events to get some practice in before the big day of the London Triathlon, but I’m hoping to get my best time in London.

We’ll be raising money by throwing a charity BBQ and asking all our lovely friends and family for some of their hard earned cash for this very good cause.

The longer it takes for me to reach the £500 target means the more lycra clad photos of me you will have to put up with – so donate early and donate big!
